I. Abstract. One of the brightest pages in the history of the Dnieper region is connected with the life and activities of the Fadeev dynasty. The family – a phenomenon lived in Katerynoslav (now Dnipropetrovsk) in 1815 – 1834 on the street. Petersburg (now Leningradska, 11). The ancient noble estate was destined to become famous thanks to the dynasty, three generations of whose representatives are an important phenomenon of national and world culture, but, most importantly, thanks to the birth in the house of O. M. Fadeev of his eldest granddaughter – a world-famous researcher and writer, founder of the International Theosophical Society, Olena Petrivna Blavatsky (1831 – 1891). Today, the Fadeyev estate is a relic of the 19th century and a starting point for the spiritual, scientific and cultural development of society in the 21st century.
II. Mission of the project. The return to the space of national science and culture of the heritage of O. P. Blavatsky, the development of public consciousness from the standpoint of eternal ethical laws. Activation of international activities for the scientific understanding of her works and the society’s awareness of their spiritual and unifying potential. The study and dissemination of knowledge about the Fadeevych – Hahn – Witte dynasty phenomenon, the system of upbringing and education in a unique family.
III. The goal of the project. To create in Dnipropetrovsk an international center for the study of science, religion, philosophy and culture from the standpoint of understanding the universal principles of the universe and the laws of nature, the unity of the family, the country, humanity, the universe.
IV. Tasks of the project. Create a Museum Center of O.P. Blavatsky and her family in Dnipropetrovsk, implementing the following stages:
The first stage.
carry out the restoration of the monument house on the street Leningradska, 11 — the main (building) building of the Fadeev manor;
carry out a complete reconstruction of the Fadeyev manor, recreating the garden of fruit trees, the spring (well), the buildings of the yard;
II stage.
To create modern static and dynamic museum expositions, memorial reconstructions, exhibitions in the main building of the complex using symbolic symbols and a system of images, using electronic, holographic and multimedia means;
Create a research center with a scientific library in one of the restored wings of the manor for the study and social activation of the heritage of O. P. Blavatsky and her family;
Create a publishing center in the second of the restored wings of the manor for the purpose of distributing books and other printed publications related to the Center’s activities;
Organize auditoriums and halls for international public activities in the third of the restored wings; accommodation of scientific and creative associations of the Center, including family and children’s associations;
To create on the basis of the Center a self-sufficient, autonomously operating scientific and touristic complex, located on the territory of the manor the representation and services necessary for this.
V. Expected results.
The first stage: The cultural-ethical, scientific, memorial complex “Museum Center of O. P. Blavatska and her family” operating within the framework of defined tasks.
The second stage: Creation of the International Center for the Study and Creative Use of the Heritage of O.P. Blavatsky and the association of people of new thinking.
