On April 30, at 2:00 p.m., an interactive museum class “History through objects: Scythian decorative plaque” will be held in the premises of the museum hub.
The lesson is devoted to the culture of an ancient people – the Scythians, who lived on the territory of Ukraine in the 7th – 3rd centuries. B.C.
In the program:
a short lecture about the history and culture of this people;
interaction with copies of objects from the Scythian era, archery;
making a copy of the Scythian sewing plaque.
There will be several plaque options to choose from. One of them is placed on the poster.
We will make it from a thin sheet of brass using the hammering method. The produced plaque can be used as a brooch or fridge magnet.
The age of the participants is from 9 to 109 years.
