From April 12, the “DIVOSVIT PYSANKA” exhibition of folk art master Olga Ivashchenko and her talented students – Masha Rybalko, Nastya Stanislavova – from the Center for after-school work No. 1 (Dnipro) will be open at the “Literary Prydniprovya” museum.
About 300 Easter eggs combined into decorative compositions are presented at the exhibition. The Easter theme continues with Olga Ivashchenko’s lace patterns.
This exhibition project is a continuation of the literary museum’s long-term creative collaboration with the craftswoman Olga Ivashchenko. In the past, there have already been many successful and bright exhibitions where decorative and applied art were combined with the art of words. However, the peculiarity of this exhibition is that we are re-opening another exhibition hall. So, by Easter, a kind of museum light room appeared in “Literary Prydniprovya” with an exposition that radiates the warmth of spring revival.
Folklore tells us: “On Easter, even the little eggs kiss”, and we suggest that you congratulate your loved ones on the holiday and visit the museum together to fill your day with bright emotions, get acquainted with the artistic ritual traditions of our ancestors.
The Literary Dnieper Museum is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Monday and Thursday are weekends.
Before meeting!
