Dnipropetrovsk National Historical Museum named after D.I. Yavornytskyi and the event reenactors club “Eastern Val” invites you to a new night excursion-performance “Once we will be soldiers” dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War.
The excursion-performance will tell Dnipropetrovsk residents about well-known events and little-known facts that took place in Dnipropetrovsk region during the occupation, about the resistance movement and one of the largest military operations of the Second World War – the “Battle for the Dnipro”.
The action will unfold in 4 exhibition halls of the museum and on the diorama “Battle for the Dnipro”. We will show how our city looked in 1941-1942 and what the “new order” was. All this will take place with the help of museum exhibits of the war years, scenery, light, music, theatrical action, audio effects that will help recreate the atmosphere of those years.
The entire production will unfold around the guests, involving them in the action, offering to become not just spectators – witnesses of the events of the war years, but also their participants: to feel for yourself the inhumanity of the “new order” and the taste of “real” carrot tea, to join the ranks of unarmed replenishment , and at the end of the excursion, taste black crackers, as well as take a photo with the participants of the production.
The ticket price is UAH 80.
The duration of the tour is 60 minutes.
Entry is by appointment only.
