The exhibition is devoted to the history of tea, its attributes and traditions. It will present exhibits from various groups of the DNIM fund storage (more than 200 exhibits):
- porcelain products for tea ceremonies (imported and local origin),
- devices for boiling water and sets for making tea (samovars, steamers, teapots, creamers, etc.),
- photographs of tea scenes, newspapers and magazines with tea advertisements and articles describing tea traditions, tea accessories.
Time: the exhibition is timed to the International Tea Day, celebrated on December 15, and will last from December 4, 2019 to January 20, 2020.
P.S.: “Teahouse” company plans to hold several tea ceremonies for visitors, which will accompany the author’s tours and lectures on the history of tea.
Ticket price: adult – UAH 30, child – UAH 10.
